Electrical Fitters
Working mostly in the Perth metropolitan area with some rural work, you'll be responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment. You'll already have an eye for detailed technical work and will want to apply your skills to ensure safe, reliable and efficient power transmission and distribution.
To work for us you'll need a recognised electrical trade and hold a current A Class Electrical Workers Licence. You'll have experience in the construction and/or maintenance of substations and above all a commitment to safe work practices.
Protection Technicians
As a qualified and experienced Technician you could join the specialist Secondary Systems Services, performing the commissioning, maintenance and investigation of power protection systems in high voltage substations.
You'll need a recognised electrical trade, an A Grade Electrical Workers Licence and experience in protection post-trade and above all a commitment to safe work practices.
Cable Jointers
Keeping the power flowing, you'll make and repair joins in insulated power supply and control cables, as well as preparing overhead cable terminations. Bringing an aptitude for complex, technical work, you'll be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
You'll be a qualified Cable Jointer with a recognised qualification and have experience in paper lead and XLPE. You'll be able to work autonomously to get the job done and above all have a commitment to safe work practices.
Linespeople
Contributing to improved safety and reliability on a network that stretches over 88,000km, you'll install, repair and maintain the overhead lines that supply power to domestic, commercial and industrial users. Working with high and low voltages at considerable heights, you will always need to put safety first and will receive extensive safety training.
You'll be a qualified Overhead Lineworker with a recognised qualification and have experience in the maintenance and construction in overhead transmission and/or distribution. You'll be able to work autonomously to get the job done and above all have a commitment to safe work practices.
