Engineering Graduates
Our Engineering Graduate program is regarded as second to none in the industry. Over the course of three years you'll be exposed to all areas of the business - from communications to protection to design and systems. You will not only develop a strong understanding of our operation, you will develop friends and networks for life!
Providing you with hands-on, practical experience, the program will give you the opportunity to learn, grow and develop into an exceptional engineer. You'll cover two six-month placements each year, where you'll work alongside experienced engineers, receive extensive on-the-job training and learn about all aspects of the electricity industry.
Demonstrating the ambition to succeed and become an outstanding engineer, you'll need to possess initiative, enthusiasm and a desire to be challenged.

Vacation employment
If you're an Electrical Engineering or Civil (Structural) Engineering student, we offer vacation opportunities, with preference given if you're approaching your final year. Working on projects relating to electrical power engineering, this is a fantastic way to apply what you are learning and gain experience in your chosen field.
To be successful you will, for the majority of positions, need to be undertaking power engineering units, as well as:
Scholarships
Our Stuart Morgan Scholarship is open to Year 12 students, living in country WA intending to pursue a degree course in technology, commerce or electrical engineering at a Perth university.

The Bruce Kirkwood Memorial Scholarship is for students enrolled at Curtin University of Technology or the University of Western Australia (UWA) intending to follow a career in electrical power engineering.
